Skip Mobile App Launch Teaser

A short-form launch video for a dual-audience product. One piece had to land for both restaurant guests and restaurant owners without making the viewer pick which side they were on.

The Brief

What the client needed.

Skip was launching a technology product that did two things at once: let restaurant guests skip the line and order ahead, and gave restaurant owners more efficient operations and a better repeat-customer rate. The challenge: a value proposition that lands differently for two audiences is hard to write about and even harder to read. The launch needed a piece of communication that worked as a tease for both, without forcing the viewer to choose which side they belonged to.

The Approach

How the work got made.

Built the video around the literal experience of skipping the line — the visual is the metaphor. The viewer feels the guest side immediately (walking past a queue, picking up an order) and the owner-side benefit lands as punctuation (more throughput, more returning guests). One piece, two audiences, one moment of "oh, I get it" for each. Short-punchy treatment so the asset could pull double duty as a launch tease, a website hero, and a paid placement.

The Result

What shipped, what changed.

Delivered as Skip’s top-of-funnel launch asset, embedded on skip.us. The dual-audience framing held — restaurant owners read the same video and saw their problem solved without ever needing a separate B2B explainer.
